Voltamp has four manufacturing facilities in Gujarat: with total Installed Capacity of 14000 MVA as detailed hereunder:
Manufacturing facility for Power Transformers (of assorted ratings) up to 120 MVA, 220 kv class at Makarpura in Vadodara.
Manufacturing facility at Savli, Dist. Vadodara for Distribution Transformers up to 10 MVA, 33 kv class: with installed capacity of 4500 MVA (175 units per month) for OIL FILLED TRANSFORMERS and 1500 MVA (100 units per month) for DRY TYPE TRANSFORMERS and also allied products like RMU and compact substations.
“VOLTAMP” cast resin dry type transformers are manufactured with technology transfer from HTT, Germany in compliance with established international standards and technical features since 1998, enjoying leadership position in Indian market, with 35% market share, with 22,000 installations.
Our facilities are ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 accredited for Design, Manufacture and After Sales Services.
VOLTAMP’s in-house testing facilities are accredited by the National Accreditation Board (NABL), for testing and calibration laboratories.
Late Mr. Lalitkumar H. Patel was a promoter of the Company, he initiated a partnership business of manufacturing Transformers in the name of M/s Voltamp Corporation in the year 1963. In 1967, he incorporated Voltamp Transformers Private Limited, which acquired the He completed his graduation from Imperial College of Science and Technology, London and further studied Electrical Engineering with honours from A.C.G. Institute and spent 4 decades in this industry. He initially worked with SIEMENS, Germany at their Nurenberg Transformer Division where he had gained experience in all the aspects of Transformer manufacturing. On his return, he joined Bharat Bijlee Ltd. / Siemens India, then a Licensee of Siemens from 1961 to 1963.
